She was born on 28 September 1860 in Strawberry Twp, Oswego, New York, USA. This date of birth is not consitent with the fact that she appears on the 1860 US Census, age 7 months. The census was dated August 7 which is a couple of months prior to the September 28th date.¹
She and Harvey Leigh Shatto were divorced before 7 April 1887. An assumption based on the date of Harvey's marriage to Sarah Boyer.⁵
She died on 3 February 1890 in Allen County, Kansas, USA, at age 30. The child and mother probably died as a result of complications of childbirth.^6,3,1
