The death certificate indicates his age is 53 years, 5 months, the value in days appears to be a 1 but I'm not sure about it. The date of birth is written as May 1887 which doesn't match the age of 53 years. I am assuming the date of birth is 1884 rather than 1887 based on his reported age in the census and his WWI draft registration. The draft registration is transcribed as May 14, 1881 which I think is an error. It appears to be written as 1884 with the '4' written to look like a '1'.
